Mrs. Kara Witthuhn
Wellness Specialist
With a degree in psychology and a minor in social work, Kara Witthuhn brings over 21 years of experience providing support, education, and advocacy to serve children and families. She married her high school sweetheart, Cliff, in 2001, and they have three children: Lydia, Evan, and Joel. Kara and her family are members of The CORE (WELS) in Appleton and enjoy hosting a weekly Life Group. She serves on the WELS Freedom for the Captives advisory board and has been actively involved in various volunteer roles empowering and equipping Christians for compassion ministry. In her spare time, Kara loves traveling, cooking, and planning the next vacation.
Kara is excited to serve through the Christian Family Solutions School Based Counseling Program, providing mental health and behavioral support to students, school staff, and families. She looks forward to opportunities to share God's unconditional love with each individual, reminding them of His promise: "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" (1 John 3:1).
