Discipleship
Cultivating a Deep Connection with Christ: Empowering Students for a Lifetime of Faith
Discipleship: Shaping Lives, Shaping Futures
At Shepherd of the Valley, we believe that discipleship is more than just learning about faith. It's about nurturing a deep connection with Christ that shapes character, guides choices, and inspires a lifelong commitment to serving God. Our prayer for our students is for them to know Jesus as their Savior and how much Jesus loves them, and to equip them with a strong foundation of Christian values, enabling them to navigate the world with wisdom, compassion, and a sense of purpose. We partner with our federation congregations - Bethel Lutheran Church and Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church - to serve the whole family spiritually in their relationship with Jesus. We strive to create a nurturing environment where students can grow spiritually, intellectually, and socially, ultimately becoming well-rounded Christian individuals who are ready to make a positive impact on the world.
