Ashley Steinmetz grew up just south of Oshkosh and attended Grace Lutheran School in Oshkosh and Winnebago Lutheran Academy. After high school, she went to Martin Luther College and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. After college, Ashley was assigned to St. Paul Lutheran School in Appleton. Ashley has served Shepherd of Valley since 2017. Ashley has served SVLS as a part-time second-grade teacher, a part-time 3rd and 4th-grade teacher, kindergarten teacher, preschool teacher, and now serves as the preschool director. In 2024 she received her Wisconsin Registry Administrator Credential.

Ashley and her husband Jacob have four children. She enjoys listening to music, reading, playing cards, and spending time with her family.
