Co-Curriculars
Band
Grow in their musicianship using participation in the program.
Practices once a week. Once at SVLS and on Saturdays at FVL.
Choir
Children at all grade levels have opportunities to use their voices to praise Jesus. Runs from August through May. Practices two days per week during the school day.
Piano Lessons
Piano lessons offer another opportunity for musical enrichment. Piano lessons offered during the school day serve as another way to foster a lifetime love of music and to develop students' musical abilities to the glory of God.
Theater
Children at all grade levels have opportunities to use their gifts to engage in theater performances. Fall: Practices Monday through Thursday. Performances are on Friday.
Spring: Practices Monday through Thursday. Performances are on Friday.
Robotics
We seek to give our students (or future engineers) opportunities to build, problem-solve, code, and compete against students in different competitions.
Math Bowl
With practices starting in October and the Math Bowl Meet in November, SVLS offers a chance for students to use their math abilities for the glory of God.
Forensics
Forensics gives our 5th-8th grade students a chance to grow and develop their public speaking skills.
