MILK MOOLA For the last 15 years, Kwik Trip Inc. has offered the Milk Moola fundraising program to thousands of organizations in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. During that time, we have contributed over $4 million dollars to those organizations. It has been just one of many ways Kwik Trip have given back to the communities.
Over the last several months we have been assessing the impact of this fundraising program. In doing so, we discovered that the cost to administer the program has outweighed the dollars Kwik Trip directly funded to help the participants. Because of this, we have made the decision to end the Milk Moola program and reallocate our efforts and donations in a different direction – in order to more effectively serve our communities. We want to thank all of you for being part of this program for so many years. To demonstrate our thanks, we would like to offer a special discount on our scrip fundraising gift cards in the month of January. All new and existing scrip gift card fundraising customers will receive 15% off the face value of the scrip cards by referencing promo code MM15 when placing an order. If you are not currently a scrip gift card customer, an enrollment form is attached for you. You will find more information about the program at the bottom of this email. All Milk Moola redemptions will need to be postmarked 3/31/19 to receive payment. Anything after that date will not be processed. Again, thank you for letting us be part of your organization and communities. Sincerely, Teresa Clark Marketing Project Supervisor

SECOND QUARTER MISSION OFFERINGS will be directed toward the Vulnerable Children's Foundation, in partnership with FVL Schools, but with a slightly different focus. In Zambia, it costs about $250 to support one student for one year. Along with FVL Schools, our 2nd quarter mission offerings will go toward sponsoring students for the year in Zambia. So far this quarter the children have given $265.20 towards sponsoring students.

HELP PREVENT THE SPREAD OF ILLNESS
With it being cold and flu season, and because people tend to stay inside during this time of year, the spreading of germs becomes more common. Please help us prevent the spreading of germs and illness by keeping your child home if (s)he is ill. As a general rule, keep your child home if (s)he has a fever, nausea, bad pain, persistent coughing, or vomiting/diarrhea. For the health of your child and others at school, please follow the 24-hour rule: only send your child back to school when (s)he is fever free (without meds) for 24 hours, has been on antibiotics for 24 hours, hasn’t thrown up etc. for 24 hours, etc.
